Fukugu operates regulated payment infrastructure in Japan — from enterprise payment rails and collections to Fukupochi, our consumer payment service.

The infrastructure handles compliance, settlement, and reliability. The products handle the experience.
JPY and cross-border payment rails for businesses and platforms. Accessible via API for programmatic integration, or via dashboard for direct management. Fully licensed and settlement-ready.

Every transfer runs through Fukugu's licensed infrastructure — with identity and safety controls built in from the ground up.
Safety controls are built into every transaction — not optional extras.
Funds are fully backed, segregated, and moved through regulated banking infrastructure.
Before a transfer leaves Fukugu's rails, the recipient's registered account name is checked against bank records in real time. If it doesn't match, the transfer is flagged — before any money moves. Fukugu is among the first licensed operators in Japan to make this standard.
Name mismatches are caught before funds move — protecting both sender and recipient from misdirected payments and fraud.
Verification queries live banking network data — not a third-party database — so results are accurate and returned in real time.
Fukugu holds a Type 2 Fund Transfer Licence — registered with the Kanto Local Finance Bureau and a member of the Japan Payment Service Association and the Fintech Association of Japan. We've processed over ¥168.9 billion in payments under Japan's Payment Services Act.
